We recently collaborated with our partners FireSign Inc in GA, specializing in creative branded merchandise, to design a display logo for the Caribbean Cruise Shipboard Center, which will be showcased on their cruise ships.

This 4 feet custom-made "X" logo is designed to serve as decoration on each of their 13 cruise ships in their fleet.

The process began with a photo and PDF sepcifications file provided by the client. Using this information and data, we developed a CAD rendering and a mock-up of the display for approval and for cutting.

The fabrication process began with cutting an "X" shape, approximately 4 feet in height, from EPS foam material using our CNC hot wire foam cutter.

Subsequently, we applied an Epoxy hard coat by brushing it on, sanding it down to smoothness, and repeating this process until we attained a high-quality finish.

Once smooth enough, the surface was then painted with a white acrylic-based paint.

To enhance the visual appeal, we also added a 1-inch mirror chrome acrylic border around the perimeter of the "X"

We cut a 4-inch clear acrylic piece, using our CNC laser cutter and placed it beneath the two legs of the letter.

We then applied a blue "Celebrity X Cruises" logo decal to the acrylic base, using an adhesive-backed vinyl print

Another acrylic piece was laser cut to fit across the top of the "X".

On this piece, we mounted Sintra letters spelling "ASCENT", which were cut on our CNC foam cutter.

The letter faces were coated with chrome mirror vinyl to create a striking wow effect.

The acrylic top piece was securely fitted into two custom-cut slits at the top of the "X" to facilitate easier handling and transportation.

For the base, we cut a custom-sizes EPS platform and painted it white.

To reinforce the whole structure, we installed plywood internally inside the base and mounted a 3-inch locking caster wheels to the underside of the base, thus making the display easy to move and position.

Finally, the completed display was securely packed in a custom-built woodn crate and shipped to the Royal Caribbean Shipboard Center in Weston, Florida.
